Well I've arrived back in the United States. I took the long way around the world to escape the wrath of Eyjafjallajökull. My flight went from Addis Ababa to Beijing to Los Angeles to San Francisco to Las Vegas. It was a dreadfully long flight, but I was the locomotive that did and was unstoppably heading down the other side of the mountain back to the states to see my friends and family.
I've been back in the states for a little over 2 weeks. Lacking a car and the same social tendencies that once graced the name Jon Losey, it has been odd adjusting to the American way of life again. I feel disheartened by the amount of garbage that we produce in comparison to Ethiopians. I loath the news again (only took me 5 minutes of morning news). BUT, it's good to be back. America the beautiful! America the wealthy! America the nostalgic!
The primary agenda was to procure a harvest internship position in Napa Valley. With the plethora of emails that I sent in the order of A to Z in Napa, the internship I have the luck to work with is Anomaly Vineyards (small production Cabernet Sauvignon). I will be helping, from vineyard to bottle, with many of this vineyards functions throughout the harvest season. I am quite enthused with the opportunity to work with and learn about that product of vine and time.
In the meantime I will be trailblazing across the United States to drink wine (and possibly beer and whiskey) with my friends and family around this country. I begin my trip on Thursday the 13th. Then after, I will move to friend's couches in San Francisco for most of July. In August I will start this grand new job in Napa Valley. Come visit me!

I took my first loans when I was a teenager and this helped my family a lot. Nevertheless, I require the credit loan once again.
